Today, we also still learnt about the pentatonic scale... and we just revised everything yesterday and in instrument class we just did the pentatonic scale in the guitar (which is quite confusing).. we got a homework of making our own 16 bars scale with one of the pentatonic scale and it should be submitted next week..

Today, we had to submit our 16 bars scale....AAAA!!!! I DID IT LIKE AT RECESS!! JUST BEFORE MUSIC!! at least it was not that bad... but then, some of us had to show our pentatonic scale.. and we didn't get a chance to go to instrument class.. AWW MAN!!

Today, we learned chords to put when we have the c major scale (in the piano).... We were told to put a chord in our 16  bars melody which i think is really hard!! mann!!! but and then I had to try my best..  We didn't get a chance to go to instrument class again..

Today, I asked sir about everything that I missed and what i am supposed to do with the finale... I was confused again and i didn't know what to do..... Oh well! I'll try my best.... And in instrument class, we practiced to do out melody for next week's assessment!! It's on Thursday though..

Today, we checked everything. Submitting the finale the soft copy and the hard copy.. We also got a homework to write our final draft on our 16 bars melody with the lyrics... My lyrics was horrible!! OH well!! tomorrow is our assessment of presenting our finale!! aaaa!!! so dead!! and in instrument class, we practiced the melody..

Today, we are going to do our assessment! AAA!! i didn't get a chance to practice because my guitar string broke... OH MAN! SO UNLUCKY! I asked sir if I can practice again for my melody because i didn't have time... And when I presented it, It was horrible!!!!!! REALLY BAD!!! so and then i decided to re-do next week...... LET'S SEE WHAT HAPPENS!! O.O

Today, we did our re-do for the melody.. But turns out, I didn't want to do it again because I just thought that I was going to do the same thing again... Which made me quite sure that I'm just going to go with that.. The others did it and I think they did great! After we were done presenting, we just did our reflections for our assessment sheet.. And then time flies, IT WAS ALREADY DONE!!! O.O

Today, all we did was reviewed the scales and made everyone understand the scales completely. So then, when we have the test, we will do just fine :) I got kind of confused but oh well, I GO THROUGH! ^^ And we did that for the whole entire lesson.. Just discussing about the scale.. Nothing else really...

Today, we did nothing else but a pop quiz on the scales.. GOSH!! WE'RE DOING THAT OVER AND OVER NOW!! and we don't get much time for the instrument class. PHEW! harddd.. And we have to answer those questions within seconds!! how hard is that?!

Today, Mr John and Mr Harry helped Mr Sadrakh to teach the class. It was fun! We had quite a laugh!! And we did the pop quiz again!! Now you have to do it in 5 seconds and if you can't do it, you have to stand up till you get another question correctly.. It was funny!! Some people wanted to stand up. But poor Amatta, none of the questions goes to her because the teacher knew that she is going to get it correctly.. She even asked if she can stand up just so that she can answer at least a question! But at the end she didn't get any questions.. POOR HER! HAHAH ^^

Today, we checked if we did our homework and assessments... AND I GOT INTO TROUBLE!!  oh-no..... So, and then we got to our theory lesson.... We learned about the pentatonic scale.. And there were two scales... One had do re mi sol la.. And the other was do mi fa sol si... And we got some homeworks for it.. Then we went to our instrument class, and we learned a trick of how to make the piano thing to the guitar (it's hard to explain)...

Reflection #1,

Today it was our first day to have the music class, So we didn't do much. All we did was pick what instrument class we were going to be in but some people haven't come to school yet. We had to wait for Matthew and Kelvin to come to school. So the decision was not settled until they came back to school. So, I picked the guitar and got to our instrument classes. We haven't brought our instruments yet. So, we borrowed the school's guitars. Since that day Mr John was absent, we were taught by Ms Melvina. Ms Melvina didn't know much about guitars. So she only taught us how to do Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol. And for the rest of the time, we just kept on doing it over and over again.

Reflection #2,

This was our second day and we had to sing the song "O Ina Ni Keke". It was a traditional song and one of our first assessments. So we had to sing in pairs an it was fine because i liked the song and from that day, I already memorized some of the lyrics to the song. And in our instrument class we also learned the Do Re Mi Fa Sol.

Reflection #3,

This was our third day in music class. We sang the O Ina Ni Keke song again. We learned about some scales and had to write them down in our music book. We got our first homework for music. Which was the counting of the scales. We went to our instrument classes and learned the song Sol Mi Mi. We went home after that.

Reflection #4,

This was our fourth day in music. We gave in our homework and Mr Sadrakh checked if we understood the scaled or not. After Mr Sadrakh checked, we got a brand new song to sing! It was also an assessment! This song I was familiar to because when i was a kid, I liked to sing the song "Apuse Ko Kon Dao". It was one of my favorite songs when i was a kid. So i easily memorized it. On the instrument class we recalled the song Sol Mi Mi

Reflection #5,

This was our fifth day in music class. We sang the Song Apuse again and did some homework. We went to our instrument classes and leaned the song Ode to Joy, which was much harder than the other songs we learned.

Reflection #6,

This was our sixth day in music. We learned more about scales. And he gave us homework, AGAIN! In the instrument class, we practiced the Ode to Joy again.

Reflection #7,

This was our seventh day in music. We learned about what we are supposed to do in our presentation next week. I was grouped with Christopher, Alex, Sunaina and Louis. We had to do the Papua instruments. On the instrument class, we learned how to do the song I dont want to talk about it.

Reflection #8,

This was our eighth day in music. We did our presentation but our group kind of messed up. So we had to re-do it for tomorrow. We went to our instrument class and learned about I dont want to talk about it song.

Reflection #9,

This was our ninth day in music. We did our presentation and Mr Sadrakh tells us about our assessment, which was playing your own intrument in front of the whole class. We went to out instrument classes and practised.

Reflection #10,

This was our tenth day in music. We did our assessment and i was 3rd in the guitar. I was not that nervous because I played an easy song.. I knew i could've done better but i didn't want to take my chances.. We didnt get time to go to our instrument class and Mr Hary's brother came and played the trumpet to us.. It was amazing!

Reflection #11,

This was our eleventh day in music. We learned more about C and G major scale. Mr Sadrakh gave us homework on that topic. We were to late in our theory class and we went to our instrument class but didn't do much of anything. We went back after that.
